really illustrates a major issue in SEO: links. SEO firms all over the country bought links in the millions as recently as a few years ago. Then, Google said stop. Now, to get links, companies write junky guest posts. Google is again says stop. As an SEO at a search agency
and blogger, I’m clapping! Maybe SEO’s will learn to write for the audience reading the post rather than for a search engine and links. Google’s goal is to provide a quality experience for it’s users, so writing good quality, meaty content will always win. Guest posting isn’t dead, but guest posting for junky SEO links is nearing the end of the line. And, I’m clapping.
