Our people make us who we are.

We're instigators. Fire starters. Provocateurs. We rock the boat. We cross the line. We make it rain. We're tech savvy, brand savvy and strategically solid. We're planners. Schemers. Your clever, calculating coconspirators bent on getting you a bigger piece of that market share pie.

  • Daniel Knapp
    Daniel Knapp
    Chief Executive Officer

His continual drive for success sets the pace. Delivering results-driven planning, execution, and analysis is his thing. In Daniel’s world, mediocrity is a four-letter word.

With over 15 years of marketing experience and as LEAP co-founder, this Michigan native orchestrates performance and strategy development so tight LEAP never skips a beat. As the lead account strategist, he guides the direction of our client services and client development methodologies to ensure that our clients are grinning from ear to ear. And, as the king of morale, he constantly surprises and delights us, whether inviting folks over for a home-cooked meal or presenting his teams with a glass of wine after a hard day’s work.

With a background in Fortune 500 finance, the transition into the world of digital marketing and advertising over fifteen years ago was initially jarring for Daniel. But as he began to uncover digital's value proposition those many years ago, a simple truth emerged: the same core philosophies that underpin finance align almost perfectly with digital marketing and advertising - measurement, transparency, accountability, and investment return. And getting to apply that philosophy within a world of almost daily innovation and breakthrough creative within client advertising campaigns, website initiatives, social communication, and e-commerce deployments is incredibly fun.

Daniel is Six Sigma-certified and an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist. He’s also received the Inc.credible Award for Business Achievement and has since judged the competition, along with being a founding CEO of the GLI High Impact Project Awards. When he’s not thinking about ways to make things better, he’s putting on some Sinatra, settling in to watch Downton Abbey, or warming up for a little Outhouse Racing (it’s a Michigan thing).

  • Alan R. Gilleo
    Alan R. Gilleo
    Chief Creative Officer

If determination could be bottled, Alan would corner the market. His brand equity appreciation is fanatical. His strategy has performed magic. And with a vision that never strays from the big picture, he has steadily trailblazed the right path for LEAP.

Over the course of his 20 year career, Alan has worked for brands such as  Tommy Hilfiger, Pizza Hut, National Public Radio, and Comcast Cable.  He’s also won and served as a judge for the Addy Awards, the Stevies / American Business Awards, the IAC WebAwards, the Effie Awards, and the Inc.credible Awards. Alan has also been recognized as a 40 Under 40 honoree, a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and as a selected member of the International Academy of the Visual Arts. His continued hard work and persistence toward excellence have helped LEAP earn recognitions from Inc. magazine as a three-time member of the Inc. 5,000 and from Business First magazine as a Fast 50 – Fastest Growing Companies award winner.

If you’re looking for inspired work and undying effort, Alan’s the man you want to talk to. If you’re looking for someone who roots for the Red Sox and rocks out to Collective Soul … Alan is still the man you want to talk to.
