On October 20 and 21, the Horseshoe Southern Indiana Hotel & Casino is hosted the 2016 Digital Crossroads event, held annually by the Louisville Digital Association. LEAP was proud to have a twofold part in this year’s event. Not only are we a sponsor, but Hailey Heishman, a digital content creator here at LEAP, is hosting a breakout session, titled “Storytelling Through Snapchat.”
Starting in 2009, LDA stemmed off the Social Media Club of Louisville. Now, in addition to social media, LDA focuses on its conversation to digital trends on mobile and web, latest technology crazes and entrepreneurship. The association is open to anyone involved in digital media in the Louisville or southern Indiana area and free to join.

In addition to Heishman, this year’s Digital Crossroads is welcoming speakers from both Louisville and afar. The speaker list included author Eric Qualman, Rick Wion, senior director of consumer engagement at Kellogg, David Hibbs, senior manager of DMP at Oracle, and many more.
The speakers delved into topics concerning the digital world today, including social advertising, selling through LinkedIn, and “You Gotta Have Personality: Why the Customer is Craving Video,” presented by Tara Hunt of Truly Social.
