Learning the Importance of Fresh Branding

These past few weeks at LEAP have been busy ones for this little intern. Not only have I been working on presentations and graphics, but I also had the opportunity to visit our Cincinnati office and work with the creative team there for a day. It was an awesome experience for me, and I feel like I learned a lot of things about LEAP that I didn’t know before. I gained a more in depth understanding of LEAP’s branding and the direction we are moving in. It was very exciting and enlightening to get a firsthand experience of how the creative process works with LEAP’s design team. LEAP has very talented designers, and it was a great learning experience to get to spend the day with them.

As a marketing agency, it’s very important for LEAP to not only keep their clients’ branding and advertising current, but to keep their own branding current as well.  It was great to be able to learn about how the agency I work for is able to stay current while keeping their clients above the curve as well. It really helped to enlighten me as to how I can keep my own designs’ style in-sync with that of the company I work for.

After learning about how LEAP is growing and changing, I began work on creating front and back covers for LEAP’s Logic+Magic magazine articles. I created covers to be used with each individual article to be presented in PDF form. It was great to learn more about LEAP, and to be able to present fresh, new designs for the company that has taught me the importance of reevaluating brand image.
