LOUISVILLE, KY. – March 30, 2011 – LEAP, a digital advertising agency, expanded its digital marketing services to include Event Marketing. LEAP sponsored the Flash Mobsters of Louisville, an organization of 200 Louisville residents who performed a flash mob at the Greater Louisville Inc.’s Annual Meeting on March 15 at the KFC Yum! Center.
“One of our employees, Emily Carroll, was the lead organizer for this event and when she approached us about being a sponsor, we gladly accepted. We had one of our best designers, Keith Adams, create a T-shirt to give to the participants, and I get a smile on my face every time I see someone wearing this shirt around town,” said Alan Gilleo, Chief Creative + Experience Officer at LEAP.
LEAP owners, Daniel Knapp and Alan Gilleo, were in attendance the night of the event, as were part of a handful of people other than the dancers who knew what was about to happen. Gilleo filmed the performance, showcasing the crowd’s reaction, which can be viewed on LEAP’s Facebook page.
“There were 1,700 people at the event and it was so much fun to know what was about to happen, and to sit back and watch the response. It was a highly executed marketing effort, and we look forward to doing more events like this in the future,” said Daniel Knapp, Chief Executive Officer.
