Custom Building Products specializes in grout, custom tile flooring and shower installations. Custom Building Products has a diverse audience – Contractors, Architects, Designers as well as the homeowner and DIYers. LEAP has worked with Custom Building Products for a while, our most recent project being a mobile app.

This app allows on-the-job viewing of their products and includes a grout color selector. This app can also be downloaded in the store, such as one of their big distributors Home Depot, that homeowners and DIYers can use to help with their product, color and measurement needs.



LEAP partnered with AddsUp to create a subscription based daily deal service that will compete with local online deal services such as Groupon.  They intended to utilize fundraising groups as a sales channel to help sign up subscribers/customers and also drive retailer involvement.  A minimum of 30% of your annual subscription goes to a cause of your choice.

We have been approached by Plygem to help them elevate their siding product business. They have been under attack by James Hardie (HardiePlank) as producing an inferior product and want to confront that perception head-on. This is still an outstanding pitch and the client is working through their agency-selection process, but we wanted to include it so your company can see how we approach a large-scale initiative and execution. View the full presentation here.



Senco is a leader in the manufacturing of industrial-quality air and pneumatic tools. Historically, one could buy a Senco tool only through a distributor, but Senco is now selling more broadly in Lowes and Home Depot. Senco needed a new branded presence that spoke to the professional contractor, woodworker, roofer or installer but also to the larger market they were now in front of. Product comparison tools, service, parts, where to buy, availability – these were some of the issues we tackled in their redesign. See the New SENCO Website



Schneider Electric approached LEAP at the end of last year needing help in reaching and connecting with their audience. They were launching new products and a highly interactive digital toolset for their Electrical Contractor and Consulting Engineer customers and were just not getting the engagement they expected nor the sales they had budgeted through the tool. We started by putting together an overall digital strategy and messaging eco-system strategy to ensure we had the correct approach and get alignment across all departments and agencies. We also conducted and applied the proper research to find out which channels would resonate with the Electrical Contractor and Consulting Engineer. Now through search, email, social channels and content marketing as well as direct mail tied-into our digital channels, we are reaching these hard-to-interest customers with the right message and calls-to-actions.

On Friday, February 20th, 2015, LEAP attended the 41st Annual American Advertising Federation-Louisville Louie Awards Gala. The Louies are the creative competition for the advertising industry in Louisville. Winning a Louie is the first step in the three-tiered American Advertising Awards creative competition, sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, with the competition culminating at the AAF national conference in June. LEAP, a full-service digital agency, won six awards: three gold, two silver, and one Judge’s Choice.
