Russell athletic didn’t have much digital game. So they recruited LEAP.
The Russell Athletic “R” had long been one of the most iconic logo in sports and athletic apparel. It is widely recognized as a stamp of authenticity, quality and camaraderie. A few years ago, however, Russell’s digital performance wasn’t so impressive. The brand’s website was lackluster, and their ecommerce platform wasn't living up to its potential. They needed a game changer, a proven digital player to help them turn things around. So they drafted LEAP.
The first thing we did was scout out the competition. We researched Russell’s industry and got to know their consumers. Then we put together a solid game plan, which included an overhaul of their website and ecommerce platform, as well as affiliate marketing, search engine optimization, product placement ads and placement on comparison shopping engines (CSE). The result was a revitalized online presence, and an almost unfair competitive advantage.
